This is where Collaborative Practice begins.

Collaborative practice is a powerful way to support clients through some of the most difficult moments in their lives, but learning how to actually do it well is something else entirely.

This training is a practical hands-on 7 week online training experience, designed for professionals who are ready to practice differently, and who want to do that with clarity, confidence and the right support around them.

Over 7 weeks, you’ll learn how collaborative practice works in reality – how to guide clients, manage dynamics in the room, and build the confidence to use this model in your own work.

By the end of the program, you won’t just understand collaborative practice – you’ll feel ready to start using it.

Who this is for

This training is for professionals who work with families at times of change.

  • It may be that you are a lawyer, looking for a different way to practise.
  • Or a financial professional wanting to better support your clients through separation.
  • Or a counsellor, psychologist or coach who is curious about how to work more collaboratively alongside other professionals.

If you are ready to move beyond purely adversarial models, and toward a way of working that feels more human, more connected and more sustainable, you will find yourself at home here.

A formal training experience, designed for real practice.

Collaborative practice asks something different of us as professionals.

It asks us to work differently.
To communicate differently.
And to think differently about the role we play in supporting families.

That shift takes time.

Over 7 weeks, this program gently and practically walks you through the collaborative model, from your first conversation with a client, through to working within a team and participating in meaningful, outcome-focused meetings.

It is structured.
It is supported.
And it is designed to help you not just understand the model, but begin using it.

And because this is delivered as a guided cohort experience, you are not doing this alone. You are learning alongside others who are also choosing to practise differently.

This is practical training. Grounded training. Real-world training.

CPD + Professional Recognition

This is more than professional development.

This is training that supports your pathway into collaborative practice.

The program is aligned with the Australian Collaborative Practice Guidelines for Lawyers and is suitable for professionals who are looking to practise within recognised collaborative frameworks. It may also contribute to your Continuing Professional Development requirements, depending on your professional body.

It is training you can stand behind, and build from.

The 7-week Program

Each week, you will join a live online session, building your understanding step by step. If life gets busy, recordings are available, so you can move through the program in a way that works for you.

We begin with the foundations, what collaborative practice is, and why it matters.

From there, we move into the first client conversation. How to introduce this way of working. How to position it. How to support clients in choosing it.

You will then learn how the process unfolds in practice. The roles. The structure. The rhythm of meetings.

We spend time on the first meeting, what happens in the room, and how to show up well within it.

And then we move forward into the ongoing work. The conversations. The negotiation. The path toward resolution.

Finally, we turn to integration. What this looks like in your own practice. How you begin. And how you continue to grow your confidence.

A truly interdisciplinary approach

Collaborative practice is not something you do alone.

It is something you do alongside others, each bringing a different expertise, a different perspective, and a shared intention to support better outcomes for families.

Our program reflects that.

Throughout the training, you will hear not only from lawyers, but also from financial professionals and mental health practitioners. You will begin to understand how these roles work together, and what it looks like to be part of that team.

Because the strength of collaborative practice is not just in the process, but in the people.

What you’ll leave with

At the end of the 7 weeks, you won’t just have information.

  • You will have a clearer understanding of the collaborative model.
  • You will have language you can use in real conversations.
  • You will have a sense of how this works in practice.
  • And you will have the confidence to begin.

So that when the opportunity arises, you are ready.

Designed for real life

This program has been created with the reality of practice in mind.

The sessions are live and online, with recordings available if you need them. The learning is structured, but flexible. And everything you are learning is designed to be applied in real time, not saved for “one day”.

Because the best learning is the kind that becomes part of how you work.

A note on timing

This program is delivered as a live cohort experience, with limited places to ensure a supportive and engaged learning environment.

If collaborative practice has been on your mind for some time, this may be the right moment to begin.

This is about more than skills

It is about changing how we practise.

How we support families.
How we work together.
And how we experience our work as professionals.

This is what modern family law practice looks like.

Join Clarissa and her team for 7 weeks and learn how to practise collaboratively, with clarity and confidence.

Meet Your Mentors

You’ll be supported by experienced collaborative practitioners who are doing this work every day, people who understand both the theory and the reality of what happens in the room.

They’re here to share insight, offer perspective, and help you build the confidence to start applying this in your own practice.

A shared approach

What makes this program different is not just who is teaching, but how they teach, together.

You will see how different professionals:

  • communicate
  • collaborate
  • and support better outcomes

Because collaborative practice is not something you learn in isolation. It is something you experience.

You don’t need to have this all figured out before you begin.

You just need to be ready to explore a different way of practising, and willing to take the first step.
